Under the Travelling Film Festival , we will present a selection of images of Buenos Aires at the Maison de l'Architecture de Rennes. The opening will take place February 7, 2008 and the exhibition runs until February 29.
What guides my eye in the time of the walk, it is often the architecture and light. Sometimes a drawing appears, forms seem to be organized in a way that strikes me. If a frame can confirm or clarify this intuition, I tripped. Sometimes a situation or presence involves space. They also organized within the framework and I tripped.
These walks are conditioned by a particular state, not always pleasant. A feeling of wandering even idleness that takes steps towards the same place on the same routes. Consequent boredom of repetition, but also the surprise of a lucky chance.
And happiness connecting places become familiar in a city too large to already know all transitions.
But this also walking in unfamiliar neighborhoods, when we do not know what they were 100 yards away.
