We therefore Sal where I have to get our 2 english via airplane from 15h to be late. We arrive, all 3 on the paradise beach of Santa Maria, Oliver M and Manu are currently testing Kite surfing in near perfect conditions. I take this opportunity to slip quietly with Julien and Olivier in a windsurfing club for showering us with fresh water. We spend the first night in Sal to the boat because everyone is tired. The next day, beach activities: beach volleyball and Kite. We realize in the late afternoon we have lost our Schedule: The anchorage is very rolly and the node (from manual) broke off. Fortunately a small Cape Verdean 10 years we have recovered Kite surfing and found our beautiful annex on the beach. We decide to take advantage of this second night of a restaurant that will end in karaoke for 3 of us. In the morning we awoke to a surprise: the Annex has yet separated (it was my the node) but this time there is no sign in sight. We consider it lost until we spotted a fishing boat returning with our schedule: we offer a bottle of whiskey and they seem even happier than us ... That same day we enjoyed a beautiful surfing spot almost as famous Hawaii, according to the guide, with perfect waves that held over 300 meters ...
We leave Sal, with an annex to the island of San Nicolao. We stop at anchor Tarrafal and we enjoy the two days to climb to the highest point of the island, 1,300 m and discover a beautiful beach, one of the finest Cape Verde, 1h30 walk from the anchorage. The island is beautiful, we pass the fountain with a hot sun at a tropical the mountain in minutes.
The 3rd island that we visit with English is deserted, with a range of 5 km long and a few fishermen who live on the island. The main activity? Fishing: harpoon and line. This allows us to live of rice and fish for 2 days and fish baked in coconut milk and grilled fish at noon on the beach at night ... it's just heavenly. We must leave this island of dreams to bring girls to the airport in Mindelo.
It is now three days that we are on this island: we asked the British to the airport, cleaned the boat and filled the holds:
- 160 liter water
- 20 pounds of dough
- 15 kg of rice
- 5 pounds of potatoes
- 5 kilo of onions
- 15 kg of flour
- From tomato sauce
box + various purchases
... We are now ready to go, (we're 26 November), but a history of insurance requires us to remain on earth to fix everything before departure. We are all anxious to set sail and leave Africa to start the bouncer. Adrien
